KSH: the number of guest nights increased by 79 percent compared to October last year
The number of guest nights spent in commercial accommodation establishments was 79 percent higher in October than a year before, but decreased by 31 percent compared to the pre-pandemic level of October 2019, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) said on Wednesday.

The number of guest nights increased by almost 80 percent on an annual basis
The number of domestic guest nights rose 20 percent in October from a year earlier, down 10 percent from a year earlier. The number of nights spent by foreign guests increased more than six and a half times compared to October last year, mainly due to the low base due to the introduction of pandemiological restrictions, but was still 48 percent lower than in the same period in 2019.
