KSH: the number of guest nights increased two and a half times compared to May 2021

It has grown a lot, but the number of guest nights has not yet reached the pre-pandemic level

The number of nights spent by domestic guests in commercial accommodation (hotels, boarding houses, campsites, holiday homes and community accommodation) – mainly due to the low base due to the pandemiological restrictions – increased by more than one and a half times in May this year, compared to the same month in 2021, but was 22 percent behind the coronavirus -from the May 2019 value before the outbreak of the pandemic.
