The number of guest nights increased by 70 percent compared to September 2020
The number of nights spent by domestic guests at commercial accommodation establishments increased by 19 percent in September, compared to the same month in 2020, and was 3.7 percent higher than in September 2019, the year before the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.

The number of nights spent by foreign guests increased almost five and a half times, decreasing by 51 percent, compared to the same period in 2019, mainly due to the disease control measures in force in the base period, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Tuesday.
In September, total gross sales revenue increased by 92 percent to 37.5 billion HUF at current prices. (MTI)
