KSH: The turnover of accommodation establishments decreased in September year-on-year, but increased compared to the low point
The number of guest nights in commercial accommodation decreased by 59 percent in September, compared to the same period of the previous year, however, the increase was 15 times higher than in April, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Friday.
It was highlighted that as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, the number of nights spent by foreign guests in commercial accommodation fell by 91 percent in September 2020, and the number of domestic guest nights decreased by 16 percent, compared to the same period of last year.
88 percent of the guest nights were spent by domestic guests. (MTI)
