KSH: pork and fruit prices caused an increase in agricultural purchase prices
In November last year, the annual increase in agricultural producer prices jumped from 2.3 percent in October to 5.2 percent, mainly due to the sharp rise in the purchase price of fruit and pigs, according to the latest data of the Central Statistical Office (KSH).
The average purchase price of herbal products was 0.6 percent higher than in November of the previous year, 4.1 percentage points higher than in October’s minus 3.5 percent. Potatoes were 3.4 percent cheaper than a year before, while in October they were only 0.4 percent lower. (MTI)
