Total gross output from agriculture rose 4.6 percent last year

Both milk production and maize have contributed to the expansion of agriculture

According to the Agricultural Account System, 2020 publication, on the performance of Hungarian agriculture in 2020, the output of crop production and horticultural products was 1,735 billion HUF, 7.3 percent higher than in the previous year. Fresh vegetables contributed 200 billion HUF, fresh fruit, grapes and wine 161 billion HUF, live animals 708 billion HUF and animal products 296 billion HUF (including milk production 210 billion HUF).
