KSH: 103 thousand less people were imployed worked in the second quarter than a year ago
In the April-June period, the average number of employees was 4,408,000, and the employment rate for those aged 15-64 was 68.7 percent.
The number of employees decreased by 103 thousand (2.3 percent), and the employment rate is 1.3 percentage points lower than a year before. The economic consequences of the coronavirus pandemic affected the entire period under review, so its effects appear in the reported employment data – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) reported.
