KSH: GDP grew by 1.7 percent in the third quarter
Hungary's gross domestic product (GDP) rose by 1.7 percent in the third quarter, compared to the same period of the last year, while compared to the second quarter the economy’s performance increased by 0.8 percent, according to the seasonally and calendar adjusted datas – the Thursday published flash estimate of the Central Statistics Office (KSH) shows.
Murai Bálint, Head of the Central Statistical Office by describing the datas said that basically the agricultural industry, including agricultural vehicle manufacturing industries as well as the expansion of the construction industry caused the increase. Last year's low base also played a part in this year's third quarterly data. (MTI)
