KSH: GDP grew by 0.5 percent in the second quarter
The gross domestic product (GDP) increased by 0.5 percent in the second quarter of this year, compared to the same period of the previous year and increased by 0.1 percent, compared to the previous quarter, on the basis of the seasonally and calendar-adjusted datas – the Central Statistics Office (KSH) published on Wednesday.
The datas are just the same as it was predicted in August.
According to the seasonally and calendar-adjusted datas, the Hungarian gross domestic product (GDP) increased by 0.1 percent in the second quarter, compared to the same period of the last year.
On a year on year comparision, the GDP increased the last time in the fourth quarter of 2011; while in the first quarter of 2013, economic growth was 0.6 percent, compared to the last three months of last year. (MTI)
