KSH: Hungarian tourism grew by 9.5 percent in July

The foreign guests spent 12.1 more guest nights, while the domestic tourists spent 7.5 percent more guest nights, at commercial accommodation in Hungary in July, so the traffic increased by 9.5 percent from a year earlier.

The gross revenue of commercial accommodation amounted to 43.2 billion, which is a 17.6 percent increase, compared to last June. The hotel room occupancy rate in July increased by 4.7 percentage points to 66.7 percent on average.
In July, the number of foreign visitors increased by 12,2 percent, their 1 million 755 thousand guest night increased by 12.1 percent. (MTI)
