KSH: the trade surplus was 935 million euros in February
The value of exports and imports calculated in euro exceeded by 7.4, and 6.3 percent in February compared to a year earlier, while the surplus increased by 128 million euros to 935 million euros – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Wednesday on the basis of its first estimate.
In the first two months, exports increased by 5.6 percent, while imports grew by 3.5 percent. The trade surplus was 1.644 billion euros, 330 million euros more than in January-February 2014.
In February, the export value was 7.3 billion euros (2,253 billion HUF), while the value of imports was 6.4 billion euros (1,964 billion HUF).
In the first two months of the year, the value of exports was 14.1 billion euros (4,414 billion HUF), while the value of imports was 12.5 billion euros (3,901 billion HUF). (MTI)
