KSH: grain prices increased over 90 percent, fruit prices over 70 percent
The agricultural producer price level in May 2011 was 37.6 percent higher than a year ago – reports the Central Statistical Office (KSH).
In particular, the price level of plant products increased by 48.9, live animals and animal products by 16.6 percent.
In January-May 2011, the agricultural producer price level was 43.4 percent above the same period of the previous year; the price of plant products increased by 59.7, live animals and animal products by 15.7 percent.
