KSH: export surplus was 7.3 billion euros in 2013
In 2013 the export increased by 2.5 percent, while import by 1.8 percent. The foreign trade balance surplus became 7.271 billion euros, 617 million euros more than in 2012 – the preliminary datas of the Central Statistical Office (KSH) shows.
The export surplus not only exceeded the 6.655 billion euros of 2012, but has exceeded the highest value of 7.061 billion euros, measured in 2011.
According to the preliminary datas, last year, the value of exports was 81.918 billion euros (24,303 billion HUF), while the value of imports was 74.646 billion euros (22,135 million HUF). (MTI)
