KSH: 717 million euros trade surplus in April
The foreign trade surplus was 717 million euros in April, 283 million euros higher than a year earlier and exceeded the forecasts of 700 million euros – the Central Statistics Office (KSH) announced on Tuesday.
The export volume in euros rose by 11.7 percent in April, its volume exceeded the previous year’s data by 13.7 percent. The import increased by 7.6 percent in euros, and its volume was 10.5 percent higher than in last April. The value of export was 6.86 billion euros (2057 billion HUF), while the value of import was 6.14 billion euros (1844 billion HUF) in April. (MTI)
