KSH: 709 million euros trade surplus in January
The volume of export was 7.4 percent higher in January this year, than in January 2014. The volume of import was 5.8 percent higher. The trade surplus increased by 202 million euros to 709 million euros – according to the second estimate of the Central Statistics Office (KSH).
The value of export reached 6.840 billion euros (2,161 billion HUF), while the value of import reached 6.132 billion euros (1,937 billion HUF). Calculated in euros, the value of export increased by 3.7 percent, while the value of import grew by 0.7 percent, compared to the same month of the previous year. (MTI)
