KSH: 63 thousand more people have jobs than a year ago
In March-May 2012, the number of employees was 3 million 849 thousand, 63 thousand more than a year earlier. The labor market position of men and women has improved almost equally – announced the Central Statistical Office (KSH) on Thursday. The Ministry of National Economy (NGM) drew attention to the fact that the annual increase was the most dynamic growth of the past year.
According to the labor force survey, the number of employed increased by 1.7 percent, compared to last March-May. In the 15-64 age group, 58 thousand more people was working than a year earlier. In this age group, the ratio of employed was 56.7 percent, 1.3 percentage points higher than the same period of 2011. (MTI)
