Retail sales increased by four and a half percent in 2016
The volume of retail sales increased by 4.5 percent in 2016, after the 5.8 percent of the previous year.
The calendar-adjusted figures indicate a 4.6 percent increase – according to first estimate of the Central Statistical Office (KSH) published on Friday.
Sales of non-food articles increased by 6.9 percent, fuel consumption increased by 5.1, while food sales increased by 2.7 percent calendar adjusted, over the previous year. (MTI)
