KSH: 40 thousand more people are working than a year before

The number of employees between November 2011 and January 2012 January was 3 million 816 thousand, 40 thousand more than a year ago – announced the Central Statistical Office (KSH) on Tuesday.

The KSH notes that primarily improvement occurred mainly at the labor market position of men.

During the period the number of employed was 1.1 percent higher than in the same period of last year.

The number of employed persons aged 15-64 was 3 million 784 thousand, which is a 39 thousand increase, the employment rate increased by 0.7 percentage points to 56.0 percent. (MTI)
