KSH: 12-month inflation was 3.9 percent in October
In October, consumer prices rose by 0.7 percent monthly and were 3.9 percent higher than a year ago – said the Central Statistical Office (KSH) on Friday. Analysts expected 3.4 to 3.8 percent for October.
The 12-month rate of consumer price increase was 3.6 percent both in August and in September, on a monthly basis, KSH measured 0.1 percent decline.
In the first ten months this year, prices were an average 3.9 percent higher than in the same period of 2010 – reports MTI.
