KSH: unemployment fell to 3.3 percent in the second quarter
In April-June, the average number of unemployed was 155,000, and the unemployment rate was 3.3 percent, a new record after the 3.4 percent of a month before. The indicators of women have improved while unemployment among men has stagnated – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Monday.
Among men aged 15-74, the unemployment rate stagnated, with 88,000 unemployed and a 3.4 percent unemployment rate. The number of unemployed women fell by 9.4 thousand to 68 thousand, and the unemployment rate fell by 0.4 percentage points to 3.2 percent. (MTI)
