KSH: 33 thousand more people work than a year ago

In the third quarter, 33 thousand (0.87 percent) more people worked in Hungary than in the same period of the last year, so the number of employees reached 3 million 856 thousand – notified by the Central Statistics Office (KSH) on Friday to MTI.

The number of unemployed is substantially the same as in the previous year: 462 thousand. The unemployment rate is 10.7 percent among the 15-74 year-olds.

During the period, 63.2 percent of the of 15-64 years: 4 million 284 thousand people appeared (as employed or unemployed) in the labor market, 28 thousand more than a year earlier – reports MTI.
