KSH: tourism grew by 3 percent in August
In August, the number of guest nights spent by foreign guests increased by 3.8, while domestic guests spent 2.3 percent more guest nights at commercial accomodations, compared to the previous year, while the total guest turnover increased by 3.0 percent.
Total gross sales of the commercial accommodation at current prices increased by 15.2 percent. The prices of hotel rooms were 11.8 percent higher in Hungary and 21 percent higher in Budapest, compared to a year before – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Wednesday. (MTI)
