KSH: the performance of the economy grew by 2.9 percent last year
Hungary's gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 2.9 percent in 2015, compared to the previous year. In the fourth quarter of 2015 the growth was 3.2 percent, compared to the same period of the previous year – according to the first estimates of the Central Statistical Office (KSH).
The fourth-quarter data released on Friday thoroughly exceeded the analysts’ expectations.
According to the raw data and calendar effect adjusted, the GDP increased by 2.9 percent last year, compared to 2014. (MTI)
