KSH: R&D expenditures increased by 21 percent in 2017
Last year, Hungary spent 517 billion forints for Research and Development (R&D), corresponding to 1.35 percent of the GDP.
R&D expenditures have risen by 21 percent ie by 90 billion forints, compared to the previous year’s low base, according to the latest analysis of the Central Statistical Office (KSH) based on preliminary data. The exceptionally high increase was largely due to the 2017 utilization of the 2016 funds – KSH added. (MTI)
