KSH: Investment performance fell by 12.1 percent in the first quarter of 2025
The volume of investments in the first quarter of 2025, according to raw data, fell by 12.1 percent compared to the same period of the previous year. Compared to the previous quarter, based on seasonally adjusted data, the value of investments decreased by 3.4 percent at comparable prices – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) told MTI on Thursday.
According to the information, in the first quarter of 2025, the performance of national economic investments fell by 11.8 percent compared to the same period of the previous year, according to seasonally adjusted data.
The manufacturing industry, as well as transportation and warehousing, contributed the most to the decrease in investments. The decline was mitigated by the increasing investment activity of real estate transactions and the energy industry – the KSH wrote.
