KSH: the turnover of hotels rose 16.4 percent in November
The number of nights spent by foreign visitors increased by 16.5 percent, while the ghuest nights of domestic guests increased by 16.3 percent in November, compared with a year before – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) reported on Monday.
Last November, 18.4 percent more, 371 thousand foreign guests spent a total of 900 thousand nights at commercial accommodations in Hungary. The statistical office said the 2015 year-end migrant crisis mainly hit the capital’s hotels, so the significant increase in traffic is due to the 24 percent increase in turnover in the hotels in Budapest.
