KSH: the GDP growth in 2013 was 1.5 percent
Hungary's gross domestic product (GDP) was 29 HUF 846 billion HUF in 2013, which at constant prices (in real terms) is a 1.5 per cent increase compared to the previous year – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) reported on Tuesday on the basis of the preliminary datas.
Previously, it was reported that last year's GDP at current prices was 29,077 billion HUF, 769 billion less and the growth rate was only 1.1 percent.
The recent report raised the value of GDP per capita to 3,017 million HUF from the previously reported 2,943 million HUF. On purchasing power parity, the nerw data is equivalent to 17,642 thousand euros. (MTI)
