KSH: GDP decreased by 1.2 percent in the second quarter
Hungary's gross domestic product (GDP) decreased by 1.2 percent in the second quarter, compared to the same period of last year. Seasonally and calendary effect adjusted the GDP decreased by 1 percent – shows the Tuesday published quick estimate of the Central Statistical Office (KSH).
Compared to the previous quarter, seasonally and calendary effect adjusted the Hungarian gross domestic product data decresed by 0.2 percent. After the first quarter’s 1.0 percent drop, the technical recession has occurred.
The Central Statistical Office (KSH) will release the detailed datas of the second quarter on 7 September. (MTI)
