KSH: GDP decreased by 0.7 percent in the first quarter
Hungary's gross domestic product (GDP) decreased by 0.7 percent in the first quarter of 2012, compared to the same period of last year – announced the Central Statistical Office (KSH) on Friday.
Szabó Péter, head of department of the Central Statistical Office explained the 0.7 percent drop of the first quarter with the lack of driving force, that was generated by the exports and export-led industrial output in the last two years,. He added that in the first quarter, industrial production fell by 0.3 percent. (MTI)
