The Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency launches a creative industry survey
The Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency (MDDÜ) is launching a comprehensive survey covering the entire Hungarian fashion, design, beauty and gaming sector to obtain up-to-date information on the challenges and opportunities affecting creative industry businesses, and to establish targeted development strategies for the industry.
The results of the survey, which can be completed by June 15, can greatly contribute to the agency’s ability to effectively support the long-term growth of the sector, writes the MDDÜ in a statement sent to MTI.
As they write, the creative industry is one of the fastest growing sectors of the European economy with the greatest growth potential, which also greatly shapes the country’s image, so strengthening the sector’s players is significant from both an economic and cultural perspective.
“Hungary’s Competitiveness Strategy 2024–2030 deals with the creative industry among the priority sectors. The sector’s growth rate is the second highest among industries in Hungary. In addition, more than a hundred thousand people are employed in these areas, so it is of utmost importance that we have accurate information about the situation of fashion, design, beauty and toy industry enterprises and how economic changes and individual industry trends affect Hungarian manufacturers, distributors, designers and service providers”
– the announcement quotes Zsófia Jakab, Ministerial Commissioner responsible for creative industry development and sectoral coordination, CEO of the Hungarian Creative Industries Association.
The responses provided by industry enterprises in the survey can contribute to the Hungarian Creative Industries Association initiating a well-founded policy dialogue, initiating targeted support measures tailored to the needs of the sector, and promoting long-term development directions. The questions cover, among other things, the operating models and economic situation of the companies, production capacities and supplier relationships, international presence and export opportunities, as well as relations with education, training and professional communities.
The questionnaire is available on the agency’s website.
