LG has published its third-quarter financial report
LG Electronics (LG) announced its third-quarter financial results. The South Korean company reported consolidated sales of KRW 21.87 trillion and operating profit of KRW 688.9 billion.
The result was primarily due to the strong performance of the Home Appliance Solution (HS) and Vehicle Solution (VS) businesses, which delivered outstanding results despite facing a number of market challenges, such as tariffs imposed in the United States and a slowdown in the electric vehicle market. The results reflect LG’s continued optimization of its business portfolio in response to market changes, including expanding its B2B solutions, including vehicle solutions and HVAC systems, and strengthening non-hardware businesses such as subscription solutions and webOS smart TV platform services.
In the third quarter, LG’s B2B revenue increased 2 percent year-on-year to KRW 5.9 trillion, while revenue from subscription services related to home appliances reached KRW 700 billion, up 31 percent year-on-year.
