Rakuten and L’Oréal Japan partner to deliver personalised beauty solutions
The partnership will leverage Rakuten’s AI and marketing data alongside L’Oréal’s advanced beauty technology.
Rakuten Group, Inc. and L’Oréal Japan have announced plans to collaborate on delivering highly personalised beauty experiences by combining Rakuten’s AI and marketing data with L’Oréal’s advanced beauty technology.
The partnership will use Rakuten’s extensive customer data, drawn from over 100 million members in Japan, to enhance services like personalised search ads and AI-driven recommendations.
Key intiatives include the development of Rakuten CustomerDNA, an AI database with over 4,000 consumer attributes, and Rakuten AIris, a tool for connecting businesses with target audiences.
L’Oréal’s contributions will feature its AI beauty platforms CREAITECH and Beauty Genius to improve Rakuten’s user experience and offer tailored beauty solutions.
The companies are finalizing plans and promise updates on their joint initiatives soon.
