Unilever Dutch and Belgium Opers to Come Under One Division
Unilever Benelux will now serve the Belgian, Dutch and Luxembourg markets as one of the first 'Multi Country Organisations' to be set up within Unilever Europe.
Via this form of cross-border cooperation Unilever aims to speed up its growth, boost its competitive strength and reduce its cost base. The newly integrated functional departments will therefore work for all three countries. The marketing discipline, for example, will focus its brand-building activities on the Belgian, Dutch and Luxembourg market as a whole, as will all other disciplines.
Only the retail sales organisations will continue to operate locally so that they can offer direct and optimum service to their customers.
