Common Agricultural Policy: the agreement was concluded in Luxembourg
The EU agriculture ministers agreed on the important rules of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP)'s future – the Ministry of Rural Development (VM) told MTI on Wednesday morning.
The Ministry in its communication describes: the Hungarian delegation led by Czerván György Minister of State, responsible for agri management were negotiating for days. During the negotiations the Hungarian delegation effectively dealt with, significant issues that will affect the Hungarian agricultural sector.
The Minister of State considers it a success from a Hungarian point of view, that the animal farmers vegetable and fruit growers will possibly given increased supports in the new cycle. (MTI)
