Halmai Péter reminded that according to the forecast published by the European Commission on Tuesday, GDP in the euro area is expected to decline by about 8 percent this year. In critical countries, the rate is over 10 percent. There has been no decline of this magnitude in Europe since World War II, he noted. (MTI)
