Medium good kékfrankos harvest in Sopron
This year's harvest in Sopron became medium good both in quantity and quality – told Taschner István Hill Judge to MTI on Monday.
The grape's stum containt is 17 degrees, the yield is around an average of 75 quintals per hectare – he added that almost a third of the grapes has not yet been picked. On the one hand the farmers are waiting, because of the good weather, on the other hand several farmers are members of cooperatives in Austria, where the harvest begins in early October, so harvest can be completed in two weeks on those fields – reports MTI.
