Hungary is in the middle field in whiskey consumption
In India a close to one and a half billion liters of whiskey was consumed in 2012, which is more than threefold of the U.S. consumption. Hungary is in the middle field in whiskey consumption – hvg.hu wrote.
In 2012, the global whiskey consumption was 2.8 billion liters, of which India undertook the largest part – Wall Street Journal’s blog states. According to the datas of the portal, in India one billion 413 million 152 thousand and 300 liters of whiskey was consumed, while Indonesia, Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan was capable of a total of 155 thousand liters.
The published list includes the consumption datas of 79 countries. Hungary can be found on the 39th place on the list with 3.81 million liters, which means an average of 0,38 liters, ie 3.8 deciliters of whiskey pera capita. (hvg.hu)
