The number of guest nights grew in Romania
In January, the number of guest nights increased by 9.6 percent in Romania, compared to the first month of last year, according to the Romanian statistical institute.
78 percent of the 1 361 000 guest nights were spent by domestic tourists at the Romanian commercial accomodiations. 74 percent of the foreigners were European, and 76 percent of Europeans came to Romania from other European Union member states. (MTI)
