Nearly one hundred university students applied for the Nestlé Alliance 4YOUth mentoring program
Nestlé Alliance’s 4YOUth gap-filling talent development program continued this year in Hungary, the aim of which is to help young people achieve their career goals. The participants of the mentoring program announced on the job portal Zyntern.com were able to learn from the managers of various large companies for five months.
Nestlé launched the Alliance 4YOUth program in 2014 with the aim of preparing young people for the challenges of the labor market. In 2021, together with its cooperating partners, the company gave new impetus to the initiative and helped the development and employment of university students disadvantaged by COVID-19 with several months of mentoring.
In view of the great success, the mentoring program was also announced this year on the Zyntern.com interface, where 92 students expressed their interest, and 21 selected talents of them were able to start working with the managers.
“During the mentoring program, the mentees can acquire knowledge that will make it easier for them to integrate into their current or future workplace, and which they can continuously use to achieve their career goals”
– said Gábor Tompa, director of public relations and corporate communication at Nestlé Hungária, who himself participated in the program as a mentor. The participants were drawn from students in diverse fields, including HR, law, business and management, trade and marketing, cultural anthropology, international business and psychology.
