Raw milk exports fell by almost a quarter in a year
According to AKI PÁIR data, the national average producer price of raw milk in Hungary was 199.3 forints/kilogram in June 2025.

In addition to the deterioration of both fat and protein content by 0.06 percentage points and the stagnation of the basic price, the average price of raw milk decreased by 1 percent in June 2025 compared to May 2025, but at the same time exceeded the average price of the same month of the previous year by 22 percent. The purchase of raw milk in June 2025 was 7 percent lower than the previous month’s volume, while it exceeded that of June 2024 by 1 percent. The export price of raw milk was 188.83 forints/kilogram in June 2025, exceeding the previous month by 4 percent and the same month of the previous year by 16 percent. The export price was 5 percent lower than the average producer price. According to AKI PÁIR data, raw milk shipments decreased by 24 percent in June 2025 compared to a year earlier.
