The world's most expensive cocktail costs nearly two million forints
A cocktail record was broken at the London Playboy Club: a renowned bartender Salvatore Calabrese prepared a drink for 1 million 850 thousand HUF.
According to Salvatore Calabrese he was succeeded to prepare not only the world's most expensive coctail, but also the oldest one. The total age of the ingredients is 730 years.
“A glass of liquid history” – the Yahoo U.S. news portal quoted the bartender.
The previous price recorder coctail cost 1.3 million HUF. The recipe of the new record breaker is: take 1778 vintage of Clos de Griffier cognac, add Kummel liqueur from 1770, than Orange Dubb Curacao bottled 1860 then pour it with Angostura bitter from 1900. (MTI)
