The beaches of Lake Balaton will be developed from nearly two billion HUF
48 pay beaches and free beaches of 44 municipalities near the Lake Balaton can apply for non-refundable development aid of 1,860 billion HUF this year – the Hungarian Tourist Agency (MTÜ) told MTI on Thursday.
The Lake Balaton is a tourism development priority region. By 2020, the region can receive a total of 365.4 billion HUF EU and national sources to create more family-friendly, quality services. The Hungarian Agency for Tourism supports investments that lead to the revenue growth of the beaches as well. (MTI)
