20 percent increase in egg prices contributed to the November inflation
Last month, mainly due to rising fuel prices and egg prices, the annual rate of inflation increased to 2.5 percent, Várhegyi Judit, head of department of the Hungarian National Bank (MNB) told M1 news channel on Monday.
She added that the rate of deterioration accelerated to the previous month. The price of eggs rose by almost 20 percent in one month, she added. At the same time, there was no significant increase in the prices of services, but there was a decrease, especially in telecommunications, the Internet and cable television services. (MTI)
