Tesco improved its turnover with six percent in Hungary
According to the preliminary reports, Tesco improved its turnover with nearly six percent in Hungary in the 2011-12 fiscal year ended in February. The company's gross sales revenue was 705.2 billion HUF.
According to the company’s statement, in 2011 Tesco paid a total of 80.5 billion HUF taxes, which exceeded the payments of the previous year with 10 billion HUF. Crisis tax’s part was 12.2 billion HUF from the total tax amount, which is the highest among the commercial companies.
According to the communication, last year in Hungary, Tesco’s sales area increased with about 11 thousand square meters, by adding seven new stores to the network. The company created nearly a half thousand new jobs, and spent nearly 19 billion HUF on investments.
