Nearly one million hectares of arable land have been included in the agri-environment program
A total of 1.2 million hectares of land was included in the calls for agri-environmental payments and the transition to organic farming, of which 940,000 hectares were arable land, said the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in Mezőfalva on Wednesday.
Feldman Zsolt indicated at the opening of the NAK Field Days and AgrárgépShow-Mezőfalva exhibition that farmers undertook to preserve and improve the environment and reduce the environmental impact in order to achieve the goals of conserving biodiversity and combating climate change. (MTI)
