Nearly 9,000 packs of cigarettes without Hungarian stamps were found in a Bulgarian van
The tax inspectors of the National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV) found nearly nine thousand packs of cigarettes without Hungarian seal and 20 liters of alcoholic beverages of unknown origin in a Bulgarian van that was checked on the M43 highway.
NAV told MTI on Friday that the Bulgarian van delivered curtains based on the transport documents, but the tax inspectors found different brands of cigarettes in the side walls of the vehicle, and it was also revealed that the boxes were only partially filled with curtains.
He illegally delivered a total of 8,770 packs of cigarettes without a Hungarian seal and 20 liters of alcohol products of unknown origin, the value of which is almost twenty million forints, they added.
