Romanian retail sales increased by nearly 8 percent
The volume of the Romanian retail sales increased by 7.9 percent in July compared to the previous month – the Romanian national statistical institute announced on Thursday.
Compared to July last year, the volume of retail sales increased by 9.6 percent. In the first seven months, the increase was 5.6 percent, compared to the same period last year.
In the first seven months the sales of food, beverage and tobacco products increased by 13.3 percent, and these were the main drivers of growth. (MTI)
