McDonald's retained its 14.3 percent share on the market of outdoor dining in 2009.

 McDonald's closed the last year with 77.6 million customers, a turnover of 37.4 billion HUF, with a 977 million HUF operating result, 100 restaurants and 33 McCafés. The company despite the financial crisis, spent 2.3 billion HUF from its own resources on investments, mainly for the development of existing restaurants. McDonald's opened one new restaurant and 3 McCafés and renovated further 9 units.
