Nearly 200 new jobs are opening at Lidl for the summer season
Lidl has started recruiting for the summer season and is looking for a total of nearly 200 new employees for its high-traffic stores on the shores of Lake Balaton and Lake Velence. The company not only provides preferential wages, but also accommodation for those selected, so relaxation by the waterside is also guaranteed after work.
Every year, Lidl Hungary makes special preparations for the summer season. As part of this, it offers its customers a wide range of high-quality, reasonably priced products, supplemented by seasonal products essential for the holidays, such as barbecue products, ice creams, various beers and wines, or many other non-food items. The company will also create new, seasonal jobs in its eleven stores located near Lake Balaton and Lake Velence between April 1 and August 31, so that customers can be served at the high standard that Lidl is used to.
“As we approach summer, the turnover of our seasonal stores is constantly increasing, and to serve the increased number of customers, additional labor is needed, which is why, from April, new employees are added to the team of Lidl’s affected stores month by month. For the main season, we will create a total of nearly 200 new jobs, which will be accompanied by preferential wages. The available starting gross income for a 40-hour work week is HUF 588,000, and we also provide accommodation. All this is an excellent opportunity for those who would like to spend the whole season at the water’s edge, or even for students studying in higher education who want to get extra income.”
– highlighted Judit Tőzsér, Lidl Hungary’s corporate communications manager.
