The tender of the Kisfaludy program for the development of private and other accommodation has been closed; In the one and a half month period, more than 16,000 rural accommodation establishments applied for, of which 13,471 accommodation establishments received a non-refundable grant of 1 million HUF per room in August, a total of approximately 45 billion HUF from the government – Guller Zoltán, CEO of the Hungarian Tourism Agency (MTÜ) told.

In the tender closed on July 15, only rural accommodation establishments could start, the construction provides a simplified development opportunity for all private and other accommodation operators registered at the National Tourist Information Center (Ntak) – the CEO explained. (MTI)
